Harvey Wilkinson

Harvey Wilkinson is a former curator from Blackwell Arts and Crafts house in Cumbria. He also makes furniture influenced by the Cumbrian makers. Harvey will talk about the vernacular and craft traditions in relation to the Arts and Crafts movement and Modernism in England. He will discuss the nature of craft and 'celebrity' design in the context of our current exhibition A Century of Chairs.
Harvey will bring several pieces of his work for audience members to handle.
