Jason Simon is an artist living in New York and is Associate Professor in the department of Media Culture at the City University of New York.

Jason's talk was entitled 'But wait, there's more (affective economies):sooner or later we will all end up in retail.' While his own videos and installations have focused on consumerism, he was co-founder of the Orchard Gallery which entailed a group of artists and scholars opening a modest temporary storefront. Navigating between buying and selling was the subject of the talk.
