Christmas Grottoes

The two 'Alternative Christmas Grottoes' were the result of a professional development project.

Students from across the North West were invited to put forward proposals to create Christmas grottoes which questioned our modern perceptions of the festive period, while maintaining the magic of Christmas.

Students from the Interactive Arts course at Manchester Metropolitan University were selected, and commissioned to create Christmas Grottoes in Market Square, which were open to the public for one day
